Driving Directions

From Points North

From the North side of the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) take the Jones Falls Expressway (I-83) South into Baltimore City. Follow I-83 South until you get to the North Avenue Exit, about 6 miles. Keep right as you exit, and at the end of the ramp, turn Right onto North Avenue at the stop light. At the first light, turn Left onto Park Avenue. Continue down Park Avenue for two blocks, then turn Right at the first traffic light onto McMechen Street. Go one block, then turn left at the stop sign onto Bolton Street. At the end of that block, on the corner of Bolton and Mosher Street, is our house, at 1501 Bolton. The entrance to our building is on the side, on Mosher Street.

From Points South

Take I-95 North towards Baltimore, until you get to the I-395 exit. Take I-395 North (it's the only way you can go). When I-395 splits, take the right fork towards Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Travel North on MLK for about 2 miles. When the left lane (it's a three-lane street for most of the way) turns into a left-turn only lane, turn Left onto Eutaw Street. Turn Right at the third light, onto Lafayette Street. At the first stop sign, turn Left onto Bolton Street. Go one block until you get to Mosher street. Our house is on the corner of Bolton Street and Mosher, entrance is on Mosher St.

Mass Transit Directions

The Light Rail
The light rail is sort of an above-ground subway system. It's not much of a system, as it's only one line, but that makes it easy for people to figure it out, I guess. Fares are $1.35 one-way or $3 for an all-day pass. The $3 one is nice and convenient, if you can avoid losing it.

BE SURE TO BUY YOUR TICKET BEFORE GETTING ON THE TRAIN. You may not purchase a ticket once you're on the train, you have to get it before. If a transit-Nazi catches you without a ticket, you get slapped with a $500 fine!

Getting to the party from the UB/Mt. Royal Stop

When you get off the train, walk across the tracks and onto the street that runs by the light rail stop. You're now on Mt. Royal Avenue. Walk across Mt. Royal, so that you're on the side of the street with more buildings. Walk North on Mt. Royal (up the hill) for about five city blocks, past a big stone church. Turn left onto Mosher street, then walk another three blocks, until you get to Bolton Street. You made it!
