login -p
This form of the command has one mandatory option. The description says that this form of the command preserves environment variables.

login -h hostname
If you use the -h option, there's a mandatory argument which can be the name of a host. The description says that only root may use this option.

login -f name
The  description says this option, which has a mandatory argument, doesn't work well on  Linux. It's also boring.
