The volunteer is the real symbol of the Linux, Free Software, and Open Source community. The volunteer hackers and contributors have really created a community whose members put their best work into numerous projects.

Tux.Org and member LUG's occasionally need volunteers to help out with their efforts. Many software developers need folks to contribute code and patches, as well as test the software for bugs.

Many projects need assistance with documentation and websites, so even if you don't code, you can still help out.
